The COSAI NOSTRA Trading Bot includes a comprehensive referral system that rewards users for inviting others to the platform. The system is designed to be fair, transparent, and motivating for users to grow the community.

Referral Program Structure

• Two-Tier System: Rewards for both direct referrals (level 1) and indirect referrals (level 2)

• Fee Sharing: Referrers earn a percentage of trading profit fees from their referrals

• Fee Discounts: Referred users get discounts on transaction fees

• Weekly Contests: Based on the number of referrals, with COSAI token rewards

Referral Rewards Breakdown

• Level 1 Referrers: Earn 40% of the profit fees from direct referrals' trades

• Level 2 Referrers: Earn 10% of the profit fees from indirect referrals' trades

• Referred Users: Receive a 10% discount on platform fees

Weekly Referral Contest

• Prize Pool: 1 million COSAI tokens distributed weekly

• Distribution:

  • 🥇 1st Place: 500,000 COSAI

  • 🥈 2nd Place: 300,000 COSAI

  • 🥉 3rd Place: 200,000 COSAI

• Ranking Criteria: Users are ranked based on the number of new referrals acquired during the week

• Tiebreaker: In case of a tie in direct referrals, indirect referrals count is used as a tiebreaker

• Reset Period: Contest resets every Sunday at midnight UTC

• Fair Opportunity: Each week is a fresh start, giving everyone an equal chance to win

Leaderboards

The system provides multiple leaderboards:

1. Global Leaderboard: All-time top referrers ranked by total earned rewards

2. Weekly Contest: Current week's standings with time remaining

3. Past Contests: Results from previous weeks (up to 3 weeks of history)

Anti-Abuse Measures

To ensure fair play, the system includes several protections:

• Self-Referral Prevention: Users cannot refer themselves

• Single Referrer Limit: Each user can only have one referrer

• Circular Referral Detection: Prevents loops where A refers B who refers A

• Transparent Attribution: Clear tracking of which user referred another

Each user gets a unique referral link in the format:

Reward Distribution Process

When a referred user makes a profitable trade:

1. The system calculates a 10% profit fee on the profit amount

2. 40% of this fee goes to the direct referrer (level 1)

3. 10% goes to the indirect referrer (level 2, if any)

4. The remaining amount goes to the treasury

Weekly Contest Mechanism

1. The system tracks new referrals made during the current week

2. Every Sunday at midnight UTC, the contest is finalized

3. The top 3 users with the most new referrals receive COSAI token rewards

4. Results are broadcasted to all users

5. A new contest automatically begins

User Experience

Accessing the Referral Program

Users can access the referral program from the main menu of the bot.

The interface shows:

• User's unique referral link

• Copy and share buttons

• Current referral stats:

  • Direct referrals count

  • Indirect referrals count

  • Total rewards earned (in SOL and USDC)

• Access to leaderboards

Reward Notifications

Users receive real-time notifications when:

• They earn a referral reward

• They win in the weekly contest

• The weekly contest results are announced

Technical Notes

• Referral relationships and rewards are stored in a SQLite database

• The system tracks rewards in both SOL and USDC currencies

• The weekly contest uses a scheduler to automatically finalize on Sundays

• Reward distribution is handled asynchronously for better performance
